Educational Materials
RFL develops open-access educational resources that bring environmental justice into STEM classrooms and beyond. These include toolkits, interactive exercises, board games, and curricula co-designed with students and educators.
Education is at the heart of Rooted Futures Lab. We create digital modules, workshops, and hands-on activities that invite learners to critically examine the intersections of climate, technology, and justice. From MIT’s Climate Justice Instructional Toolkit to our solarpunk-inspired board game and open-access GIS guides, our materials are designed to be freely available and adaptable for a range of audiences. Educators across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and beyond have already integrated these resources into their courses, shaping how a new generation of scientists and engineers approaches questions of equity and responsibility.
